Thirty, Flirty and Thriving

Target poncho, Madewell tee (similar), Madewell jeans (c/o), Madewell shoes, Madewell bag (c/o), Natalie Borton necklace

Tomorrow is the first day of a new decade. Goodbye 20s, hello 30s! I have to say, I am definitely ready for it. I used to feel like I was “pretending to be an adult,” and then I had a baby and started a business and now I just feel a little silly when I tell people I’m 29. There’s nothing wrong with being young, of course, it’s just that I usually end up being the youngest person in my current circles of friends and I think having the number 3 at the beginning of my age feels like the right thing.

To celebrate, I gave my sad, dead hair a big, fresh chop. If you follow along on Instagram you had the pleasure of seeing the immediate before and afters, but if you didn’t see it don’t worry—I for sure will be doing a post like this one where I have my stylist Kristin give you the dish on exactly what she did to give me my look.

Cheers to the weekend, and to my last night as a 20-something ;)

Hey Natalie! I love you blog, thank you for sharing the details of your lovely outfits! Would you mind telling me what length you get in the Madewell jeans? I bought the regular length and they seem a bit too short to be able to roll more than once. I am 5’2 and am wondering if you buy the regular length or the tall length…Thank you so much for your time! Love the new haircut!!

I’m 5’4″ and they hit right at my ankle when I roll twice, but maybe I just have shorter legs?

Do ever have this issue? I always get holes in my t shirts in the front bottom. I’ve tried washing in delicate cycle, wearing an undershirt, tucking it in, and wearing an apron when in the kitchen. I’ve read that it could be from my jean button or the counters in the kitchen when I lean agains them. Anyways, it’s the most annoying issue. I just bought the best Madewell tee and it has a hole in it after 1 use already, and this always happens! Help!

Oh my word… you are a dead ringer for Jennifer Aniston (especially in the 4th photo) with this new haircut of yours!
