Hey mamas, can we talk strollers for a minute? We recently have had the chance to check out the 2015 UPPAbaby VISTA and can I just tell you…IT IS THE BEST STROLLER IN THE WHOLE WORLD! That maybe could be construed as hyperbole, but I am being 100% honest with you. I. Am. Ob. Sessed. And today (along with all of these fun photos we snapped around Encinitas) I’m going to tell you why.
First things first, what I love most about the VISTA is its adaptability. The VISTA is a total dream in its single mode, but one of the main reasons I’m super stoked on it is because of how easily it can be adapted for 2 or even 3 kids. While having one child is absolutely “enough” for me, we’ve talked about having a second baby one day and I really love that the stroller we already have will work if that comes to fruition. The bassinet is actually included and is approved for sleep. You can even buy a stand to use it as a co-sleeper to keep your new baby near you at night during those first few months. I absolutely plan to do that if we have a second!
Second, it is the most intuitive and well-designed stroller I’ve ever tried. Seriously, Brian and I were baffled when we first took Jack out for a spin in it. I’ve read some reviews of previous models of the VISTA, and most mommy bloggers agree that the 2015 edition is their shining star. They’ve clearly taken all of the feedback over the years to heart and designed a stroller that covers all the bases. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble when it arrives in the mail, folds and unfolds easily and doesn’t take up too much room in the trunk. It also has a massive basket at the bottom to carry all of your stuff—something that proves useful for me now, but will be especially handy if I’m ever hauling multiple kids around. And, BONUS, it actually is tall enough for my 6’9″ husband to use thanks to the telescoping handle (yet still short enough for my 5’4″ self to use!).
Lastly, it’s a beautiful and super functional stroller. We got ours in the “Taylor” color, which is a beautiful indigo/navy hue. It’s easy to maneuver in stores and on walks, not difficult to push up hills, and has a simple brake that is flip flop friendly (something that matters quite a bit to us San Diegans). The stroller itself feels so sleek and modern—I love walking around with it!
All in all, I am really pleased with the stroller and looking forward to using it over the years as Jack grows and we potentially expand our family. If I could go back in time, I would buy this stroller from the start and skip the other ones I’ve tried out that sadly fell short.
(This post was created in collaboration with UPPAbaby. I was not compensated to write this post, but was provided a stroller to test out and enjoy. All thoughts and words are my own—I’ve been using this stroller nonstop since it arrived, and as always, I never share about products I don’t truly love.)
