Legit Mom Style // No. 2

legit-mom-style-slider2

I’m back with week two of my legit mom style series—I hope you’re finding it helpful and realistic as you navigate the waters of fashionable-yet-practical motherhood. Below is what I wore this week—I even busted out my buffalo plaid because, well, it is September and I’m just so dang ready for fall!

Bonus style tip today for busy moms who want to feel put together: streamline your makeup routine!! Pick one feature to focus on and skip the rest. For me, it’s always brows. Lately I’m loving Sonia Kashuk Brow Definer pencil and Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara. And if there’s time, Stowaway Lip & Cheek Rouge in burnt rose.

I’m so glad you’re enjoying it!! I felt like there was a real need for some attainably chic mom style on the internet and it’s my goal to fill that void!

I’m gonna bombard you with some questions haha
    Are the Madewell flats comfortable?
Is that rug a pain to clean? I’ve been thinking about getting it but I do have pets and a baby. Also, what size is that one?
    Great post! Love your style.

Yes, I love the Madewell flats! And which rug are you referring to? The black and white one?

This is my favorite series! Love it! It gives me ideas of what staples I may not have and how to repeat them.

Would love to know where you purchased the two poufs that are stacked next to the TV stand?

They’re from RH Baby & Child—best purchase we’ve made for our home this year!

I love this series too! Fun. I’m a stay at home mom too but I’m pregnant with #2 so I’m saving these ideas for later!

I am loving this series!! The outfits in most blogs are too far out there and unrealistic for my everyday lifestyle as a mom of little ones. Your outfits are comfortable and casual yet you still look cool and put together. Can’t wait to see more!

I’m not a mom – but I’m all about low-maintenance, effortless style. Love this!

I love your black HOBO bag! Do you happen to know which one it is? I tried the link but it didn’t go directly there…maybe it’s from a previous season? Love your laid back style!
