Oxblood Sweater

IMG_8674.JPG

After 6 weeks of house arrest thanks to childbirth, let me just say that it has been amazing to finally be getting out of the house and enjoying some social time with friends! It doesn’t hurt to have a cute baby tagging along :) This sweater is my latest Madewell obsession—the cut, the color, the weight of it. It’s all perfect. You can’t tell in the photo above, but the back of the sweater has a zipper detail I adore. You can leave the back zip closed like I did above, or unzip it for a more comfortable, swingy shape after a large lunch :)

As far as postpartum style goes, I love this look because the top is so easy to pull up when I need to feed the little guy. I just wear a nursing bra (or tank) underneath and I’m all set.

So stylish and practical for breastfeeding! I’d love to see more of your outfit ideas for nursing moms. I’m wearing the same thing every day (skinny jeans, nursing tank, blousy top over) but need to step it up a notch. Thanks in advance!

Did not see the zipper on insta so I’m glad I stopped by again. My sister is newly obsessed with Madewell; I wonder if she’d like this…
