It’s Super Bowl Sunday and we’re heading to our friends’ house to eat, drink and watch the game (commercials). But before we take off, I wanted to leave you with this little nugget of thought to ponder over the coming week. So often we let fear get in the way of something we want to do—or are made to do. For me, sometimes I find fear creeping in with writing. Though I know I enjoy it and it’s a skill God has given me to use to influence others positively, I fear not being good enough, not saying the right words, etc. I know I’m supposed to do more in writing than I’m even doing now, but I haven’t yet tapped into what that is, and of course, fear is a big factor in moving forward.
What about you? What in life do you want, but are afraid to pursue? Why do you let your fear hold you back?
P.S. If you’re looking for more reading material today, I highly recommend checking out this article on The Conversation today. It’s an atheist interviewing her best friend, who happens to be a devout Christian. It’s so good!
