new house sneak peek

Brian and I have been sick, sick, sick all week long, likely due to our Thanksgiving travels. We felt so awful on Monday, we couldn’t even muster up the energy to leave our apartment to get the keys to the new house. So anticlimactic! On Tuesday we felt even worse, but the fridge was being delivered so we dragged our bums off the couch to spend some time at the house, waiting for the delivery guys.

While we were there, I thought I’d snap a few photos to share with you. We’re planning to move our stuff over there this weekend, so the place is completely bare still. Here’s a little sneak peek of the empty house we’re now calling home…

My guy, my pup and our new front door!

So in love with all the light.

A peek up the stairs.

The kitchen (SO excited about gas burners, finally!)

Maggie enjoying the extremely overgrown backyard (we have our work cut out for us).

I wasn’t kidding when I said the Christmas tree was first on our list :)

Thanks Alexa! I’m feeling better but poor Brian is still sick—hopefully he’ll be back to 100% by the end of the weekend!
