This sweater gets more wear than any other in my closet. You’ve seen it several times here on the blog (like here, here and here) and I honestly wear it at least 1-2 times a week. It works for date nights, work days and even lounging around the house and I love how easily it can be dressed up or down. It’s super soft, affordable ($100 is an amazing price for a cashmere sweater!), and it’s responsibly made.
As far as the rest of the outfit goes, I honestly don’t wear these flares often, but every couple of months I get an itch to put them on and always love the 70s vibe I get from them. To emphasize my waist since they’re high rise, I used a clear elastic to create a faux knot in my sweater. It’s a trick I use a lot with skirts in the summer, but works equally well here. I finished the look with my go-to Madewell crossbody, simple ankle boots and a necklace from my shop (which is still available—hooray!).

February 27, 2017 at 12:45 pmA clear hair tie! Genius! Maybe it’s because I don’t have hair long enough to use them, I never even thought about it. I will be buying some now. Thanks for the tip.

March 7, 2017 at 9:23 pmDo you dry clean the sweater? Honestly that’s been my main reason for not purchasing it. I have two little kids and don’t have the bandwidth to dry clean.
