One thing that’s fun about Instagram is that everyone’s feed is completely different. What I see when I scroll through is different than what you see, and I often wonder which accounts you guys follow! While of course I follow friends and family, I follow a ton of style-oriented accounts for inspiration. So I thought I’d give you a peek into some of the accounts I love lately!
These ladies are somewhat diverse in their style signatures, but each of them inspire me in different ways in my own style. Here are my current favorites…
@jessannkirby
Based in Newport, Rhode Island, Jess’ feed is full of casual-cool outfits shot against coastal backgrounds. Everything she wears looks effortlessly chic—and she has great hair and a cute dog, too!
@crystalinmarie
I’ve been following Crystalin for a long time and she continues to be one of my all-time favorites. She literally only wears neutrals (girl after my own heart!), and she’s also petite so I often can trust the fit of the clothes she styles since I’m short as well.
@happilygrey
Mary is a real-life friend of mine who I met through my husband Brian (they went to collage together), and I can tell you she is really one of the nicest people! Her style is definitely aspirational and more high fashion, but I really love the edginess of a lot of her looks and it continues to inspire me to push the envelope with my own style (something I’m working on this year!).
@caroline_joy
Caroline is the blogger who kickstarted the capsule wardrobe trend. Her style is approachable and down-to-earth, neutral and comfortable. And she wears the same things over and over in different combinations, giving me fresh ideas for how I can wear what’s in my closet throughout the year.
@leevosburgh
Lee is a Canadian blogger who, much like Caroline, has majorly influenced my minimalist-leaning wardrobe. She is committed to ethical fashion choices and has a really unique style. I especially feel inspired by the way she layers—she’s a master!
@somethingnavy
Much like Mary, Arielle has a more high-fashion look that’s not exactly what I want to copy but pushes me toward taking more style risks. She also has gorgeous hair, spot-on athleisure looks and an insane shoe collection.
@juliahengel
Julia is as feminine as feminine can be. She regularly sports pink and wears ruffles—two things I don’t really do—but also reminds me that a feminine touch is essential to round out my favorite masculine-inspired looks.
@lizadams
There’s something about Liz that is just so relatable—she has a girl next door vibe and timeless, classic style I always feel inspired by.
@haleboyd
Haley has a super retro look that I adore. Her feed gives me great ideas for outfits that look great with my shorter hair, too.
@julesdenby
Julie is probably one of the only style instagrammers who wears as much Madewell as me. She has an East Coast coolness that I love and aspire to.
