3 Easy Hostess Gifts

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Are you ready for it?! It’s gift season and that means I’m starting to work on a couple of gift guides to make your life easier. Because really that’s what this blog is all about—simple, stylish living, as a mom or otherwise. As holiday parties are starting up, I think hostess gifts are a nice touch to thank your friend for doing the hard work of hosting a party. And while a bottle of wine is always a quick and easy choice, here are three ideas that are fairly simple, incredibly cute, and give you major points with your friend as the best gift giver ;)

Capri Blue Volcano Candle

One no-fail option is the Capri Blue Volcano candle from Anthropologie. I am yet to meet a person who doesn’t love the scent, and everyone can always use a candle to make their home smell inviting. The scent is described as tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons and limes, redolent with lightly exotic mountain greens, which is so hard to imagine but if you’ve been to an Anthropologie store you know the scent because that’s exactly what the store smells like! Even better, the bags from Anthro are pretty enough to use as your gift wrap.

Potted Succulent in Cute Mug

This is pretty much my idea of a perfect gift because it combines two of my great loves in life: succulents and coffee. For not that much money, you can pick up a succulent at Home Depot and a mug at Target and just combine the two. If you have some time before the party and want to pick out a really awesome mug, be sure to check out The Created Co—they make my favorite ones! They’re also giving all of you 15% off until December 10th with the code NATALIE15.

Wine + Cheeky Wine Glasses

Pick up your favorite wine and wrap a bow around these adorable wine glasses. The wine can be consumed that night or at a later date, and the glasses will always remind the host of you. My friend Chrissy actually got these for my for my birthday and we drink out of them all the time!
