Though my friend Conni is a big fan of color (and wears it so well) she recently put together a monochromatic, neutral look that I am completely obsessed with! Below she shares some types for wearing all one color this spring.
It’s Conni from Art in the Find, friend and fellow style blogger, bringing you one of my favorite trends!
Monochromatic trends are on the rise this season. With fun trends like denim on denim (the Canadian Tuxedo, if you will) there are plenty of ways to play around with pieces in the same color family. One of my favorite outfits for late winter and early spring is pairing minimal monochromatic white and cream. Pairing a top & bottom together in the same cream or white color family and adding in a pop of color (with a shoe or an accessory) can create a harmonious (and cute!) balance.
Wondering how to get started? Try pulling out your favorite sweater, or grab this one from the Loft, that’s super soft and a great transition piece for spring, then pair it with a similarly colored pair of crop pants, like these spring crop pants. Then throw in a contrasting color in your shoes and bag (camel-colored anything always does the trick!) and you’re set to go!
