Soko x Pencils of Promise

Today I’m excited to share about a brand I discovered last year that not only makes beautiful jewelry, but also makes a difference in the world.

Soko was founded on the belief that innovation can empower women, can connect markets, and can foster opportunities that change lives. This month, this amazing brand has partnered with Pencils of Promise to launch an exclusive jewelry collection with the goal of raising awareness and funds for educational empowerment. Even better, Soko will donate 20% of every purchase to Pencils of Promise, in support of school builds in Ghana. The limited edition pieces are handmade by Soko artisans in Kenya, using natural and recycled brass.

The piece I’m wearing in the photos above is their Soko x PoP V Pendant. I love how striking and minimalist it is all at once. Naturally I’m wearing all black (my favorite color) to show it off even more.

I gasped aloud when that first photo loaded in my browser. This definitely ranks in the Top 5 list of my favorite outfits you’ve shared! Please, where are your pants from?

Also, awesome presentation of an empowered #girlboss community by sharing a company that sells the same product type as you <3 love it!

Oh you are too nice!! Thanks for the kind words and encouragement :) Even though Soko sells products that absolutely could be considered my competition, I love what they’re doing too much to not share with you guys! Oh, and the pants are Madewell leggings ;)
