Hi to all you fabulous Thoughts by Natalie readers out there! I’m Conni from Art in the Find and today I’m guest posting to talk about one of my favorite things! Style. Specifically, style for a bridal shower and what to wear if you’re attending one.

It is the perfect season to start prepping for all those spring and summer weddings that are coming up and not only that, but all of the bridal showers that come with it! Ladies, we love a good reason to dress up and this is as good of a time as any to do it. Sometimes though, figuring out what to wear for a bridal shower can be a bit of a struggle.

Here are 3 helpful tips to help you demystify what to wear when you’re invited to a bridal shower.

1. Always better to err on the side of dressed up than dressed down.
One way to do this is with a great fit and flare dress. A fit and flare dress does just that, it fits at your natural waist and flares out to the knee, giving you a very feminine look. When in doubt, a fit and flare dress is a sure bet for a bridal shower outfit. Other options would be a great pleated maxi skirt and silk top or floor length maxi dress.

2. Add a bit of sparkle with a great accessory.
Another tip for pulling together a great bridal shower outfit? Always grab a great statement accessory. A pop of color with a clutch or a jeweled necklace is an easy way to take your bridal shower outfit from good to fabulous in a cinch!

3. Tie it all together with the shoes.
What shoes you wear depends on the venue. Wearing a heel is the perfect go-to shoe. Classic colors such as nude and black will pair with just about every outfit. But what happens if the bridal shower is outdoors? You may want to think about a kitten heel (a shorter heel) or a great pair of pointy toe flats that are a bit more casual but keep the look chic & feminine.

There you go—three easy tips for pulling together a great bridal shower outfit. Want more style tips for how to wear something you have in your closet a few ways? I’ve got just the thing for you!
