A Life-Changing Way to Send Mail (Especially for New Moms)

I’ve recently found a really easy way to send mail that is perfect for new moms, busy ladies, or anyone who is too lazy to go to the store and the post office.

In the past when there was an occasion to send a card, I’d go to the store, pick something out, buy it, come home, write something sweet (in my TERRIBLE handwriting) and then spend forever searching for a stamp. Upon realizing I either lost or ran out of my stamps, I’d then have to make a trip to the post office, stand in line, get some stamps and finally mail my card. Though worth the effort for the sake of the nice gesture, it really was a pain.

Ha! Isn’t this so true?

Lately, however, I’ve been using a service that makes sending snail mail a breeze. It’s called Postable and it’s changing my life!! I started using it as a way to manage all of my personal contacts for holiday cards, but recently I started using Postable to it’s fullest potential—to send cards! Here’s how it works…

Step 1: Fill up your address book. They give you a link (postable.com/YourName), you email out the link, people click it and add their info directly into your address book for you. That means there’s no extra work for you and all of the information is accurate. The address book is private, secure and free. Woohoo! And if you already have people’s addresses, you can import them or enter them as you go.

Step 2: Write cards. Once you have people’s addresses, writing and mailing cards to people is super simple. Whether you have to write 1 birthday card, 10 thank you notes, 100 save-the-dates for your wedding or hundreds of holiday cards for your loved ones, you have the option to write a different message to each person, or write one message and have it go to as many people as you want. They also have a ton of really cute cards (including Rifle Paper Co!), so that’s a plus.

Step 3: They do the rest. They print your cards on super-luxe, 100% recycled paper, pop ’em into their envelopes, hand stamp them with a pretty first class stamp and send them on their merry way.

Pretty awesome, right? Would you use it?

P.S. Use code APRILFOOLS at checkout for free postage today! No joke!

This seriously is life changing! What great timing…it is my MIL birthday and I am home with my 3 week old and 2 year old…not getting to the store anytime soon! I was able to custom make a card and send it her way for less than $3 and not even leave the house! So exciting! Thanks for sharing!
