NOTE: Jack’s face is covered only for the photos! When wearing your baby, you should be able to see their face to ensure their air passageways are clear and unobstructed. See more about how to tie your wrap and get all of the safe babywearing tips here.
This is the first of four posts in the Solly Baby Style series, and of course I couldn’t help but start with my favorite color wrap: oxblood. The rich, reddish tone is so beautiful this time of year, and pairs well with neutrals like I’m wearing above. Since it doesn’t get too cold here in San Diego, puffer vests are the perfect piece of outerwear, and they slip on easily over the wrap to keep both me and Jack warm on chilly afternoons.
BABYWEARING TIP: Keep your wrap tied all day. I’ve found that it’s easier to tie my wrap around me after I’ve gotten dressed in the morning and only re-tie it or take it off if absolutely necessary, just for the sake of convenience. It’s so lightweight, you hardly notice you have it on.

November 26, 2014 at 8:39 amDid you ever figure out how to nurse in it? That’s the only reason I took mine off in those early months.

November 26, 2014 at 8:43 amI just bought my first puffer vest–you inspired me–and now I’m waiting for it to cool down so that I can pair it with my Solly. (It’s pretty toasty here in Orange County.) Love your jeans too!
