A Few of My Favorite Things

April 5, 2014

Just a little roundup of some things I’m loving right now!

Ever since we moved into our house, I knew I wanted to one day replace the fan above the dining table with something that made more of a statement. Though I do love pendants like this from Pottery Barn, lately bold, artsy pieces like the urchin chandelier shown, and this funky mobile chandelier are really winning me over.

Practical and stylish maternity at it’s finest, HATCH is a brand I absolutely adore. Their clothes are versatile enough to wear throughout pregnancy, and chic enough to wear afterward. Perfect for someone like me who prefers quality over quantity. (The adorable dress shown is their Mia Dress, in case you were curious.)

After blogging about my favorite swimsuits for summer, I couldn’t get over how much I loved the high-neck mesh top from Victoria’s Secret. Since I literally just got another new swimsuit, I was having a hard time justifying the purchase ($79), but really wanted to give the look a try. Much to my delight, I spotted this high-neck top at Target earlier this week and made it mine for less than $20. I love it!

I know she’s gotten a lot of bad press lately, but I’m a Gwyneth fan for life, regardless of what she does with her personal life. Her natural look is so refreshing and inspiring, and I especially love her outlook on wellness, which is a more holistic approach. Lately I’m cooking my way through It’s All Good and I haven’t been disappointed with a recipe yet.

It’s no secret that this is my new favorite gadget! Reading is easier and more fun now, and I love that the Kindle Paperwhite is light enough and small enough to fit into my purse. I’m reading a lot of parenting books for sure, but also recently devoured the Divergent series and loved every word. I almost wish I could erase my memory so I could read it again!

What are you into these days?
