After writing my response to a the Huffington Post article “How Did It Get To Be ‘OK’ For People To Be Late To Everything?,” I got an email from Felicia at HuffPost Live asking me if I might be interested in joining in as a guest on a segment on tardiness in our culture. Of course, I responded immediately saying, “YES!!” and today is the day it all went down.
The segment is called “Don’t Be Tardy To The Party,” and I had so much fun being part of it. I even learned some valuable tips to try in order to cure my chronic lateness (mostly from Elizabeth Grace Saunders, author of “The 3 Secrets to Effective Time Investment“). Check it out below and leave a comment to let me know what bits you found valuable or interesting—I’d love to discuss the topic further, as I think it’s something we really all deal with…
Overall, it was such a cool experience and I hope to join in on more HuffPost Live segments in the future!
What are your thoughts on the topic of tardiness? What did you think of the discussion? Any additional tips for those of us who struggle to be on time?
