Last week I made a decision to make the switch from Blogger to WordPress. It’s something I’ve resisted for a long time, and still feel a little bittersweet about, as Blogger has been a good friend of mine for awhile. After all, Blogger is where I learned how to design my blog, and also is the platform I’ve become so familiar with over the years. That being said, I realized the goal is to make this blog work for you, the readers, and that WordPress would be able to offer a much better reading experience thanks to all of the advanced options it offers.
That being said, I’ve spent the last two days fully immersed in all-things WordPress and literally don’t have any words in me to write a post today. So, I’ll just leave you with this teaser—that the site is going to have an updated look and feel very soon!—and also an invitation to let me know if there is anything you’d like to see from the new blog layout, navigation, etc.
What would make this blog more readable for you? What features would you like to see in the new design (better commenting, drop-down navigation menus, bios for guest contributors, etc.)? I’d love to know!
