People always ask me how I find so many wardrobe items at Target. Where are all of the high quality gorgeous-yet-affordable pieces hiding? Well, they’re hiding in plain sight. My secret? I make a habit of spending 2-5 minutes in the clothing and shoe sections every time I go to Target. Yep, every time. More often than not, I don’t find anything that catches my eye. But then one day I’ll strike gold and the stars will align and I leave with two arms full of budget-friendly style items that people will inevitable be surprised are from Target. It’s amazing.
While I highly recommend trying the 2-5 minute trick, if you’re someone who just doesn’t have the time or doesn’t have a Target nearby, I’m going to help you out today and share six flats Target has right now that are perfect for fall (four of which I own myself!)…
Kady Pointed Toe Lace Up Ballet Flats, $24.99 // The lace-up flat trend is one that is sticking around for a while! I have a lighter pair I wore all summer, but this brown pair looks great with fall outfits.
Keiko T-Strap Flats, $32.99 // For something simple that can be dressed up or down, I love these t-strap flats. They come in a variety of neutral tones, too—I really love the nude ones for a leg-lengthening effect, or the black ones for flats that work with a fancy dress.
Dorothy Suede Loafers, $24.99 // Simple, comfortable, chic and affordable, these are what #legitmomstyle dreams are made of. My only advice is to skip the chestnut color—they definitely look like UGG slippers! I adore the light tan and olive green shades.
Sam & Libby Peyton Flat Ankle Booties, $44.99 // For anyone who has considered buying a pair of Sam Edelman Petty ankle boots, these are for you!! They are a great knock-off for a fraction of the price.
Padma Loafers, $24.99 // Available in both black and a warm grey color, these tassel loafers have a lower vamp than most loafers, making them extra flattering if you’re short or have small feet.
Nannie Oxfords Flats, $24.99 // I’ve wanted a pair of oxfords for a long time but don’t feel completely confident that I can pull them off. I bought these as an “intro pair” for myself to experiment with and can’t wait to put together some looks with them now that it’s fall. I think they’d look great with a dress.
