Legit Mom Style // No. 12

It’s baaaaaaack! After a way-too-long break from this series, I’m back at it again. Over and over I hear you guys asking for outfit info and tips for mom-friendly style options and I want to give the people what they want :) I’ve realized it’s incredibly simple to snap a quick photo of my outfit (I do it on Snapchat every day!), and it’s perfectly okay for the photos to not be the fanciest, most professional shots. In fact, these were all snapped in my house, on my iPhone using a simple tripod and shutterball and quickly edited with the A Color Story app. Easy peasy.

So, without further ado, this is what I wore this week (minus today because I left the house at 5am to fly to Austin!)…

FullSizeRender 2MONDAY: LOFT romper (bonus: nursing friendly for mamas with babies!), J.Crew jacket, Madewell bag (c/o), Sam Edelman sandals, Natalie Borton necklace (similar

IMG_0227TUESDAY: J.Crew top (similar and similar), American Eagle shorts (size down one size), Sperry shoes, Madewell tote (c/o), Natalie Borton necklace (similar)

I love the Sonnet James dress on you. Do you mind offering suggestions on fit, does it run true to size?
I’ve been eyeing it online for a while now, but not sure how the sizing is.
    thanks!

It runs true to size! I am wearing and XS for a fitted look (that still has lots of stretch), but if you want it looser you can size up for sure.

I know it is not apart of the post, but I love that ‘flourish’ map art on your wall. Where is it from? thank you!

Ditto to another commenters question – how does the sonnet james dress fit? I’ve been eyeing one but am not sure what size to grab!

I am SO glad you’re back with this series. Before I purchase from J. Crew I always scroll through your super old posts for suggestions on fit. I think we have a similar body type and you have never let me down with your suggestions!

Not related to your outfits (which I love!) but where did you get your three round gold mirrors from? Been on the hunt for some exactly like that for awhile! TIA!

Love this series, but with a 7-week-old especially excited about the shout out to nursing mamas! The second look is also a super nursing friendly look and will be recreated ASAP. Thank you!

What size are you wearing in the Madewell skirt? I’m typically a 6, leaning toward the small. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I got a small, and normally wear a size 26 in their jeans. Hope that helps!
