If I had to pick the single most versatile piece in my wardrobe, it would definitely be my black swing dress. I can wear it during any season, to any type of event and always be comfortable and dressed appropriately. It would even be pregnancy-friendly! It. Is. The. Best. I almost always wear it casually (because motherhood), but recently I’ve started wearing it for date nights and I love the upgrade it gets from a simple skinny belt and heels.

You’ll also notice that I have my hair extensions in! These are the dirty blonde color (you can see the new ombre set I have here). Overall I have a sliiiiight preference for the dirty blonde based on how my hair is colored right now, mostly because I feel like it blends more seamlessly. But I think from an outsider’s perspective they look pretty similar on my head, so it’s really a matter of preference. I love how easy it is for me to go from mid-length hair to mermaid hair in a few minutes!

Hi there! I’ve only been reading your blog for a few weeks now, but I’m hooked and love your style! It’s so refreshing to find someone who emphasizes natural beauty and has a classic, clean, and comfy style. I do have a random question for you though… Do you use or recommend any self tanner products? Your skin seems to glow and I wondered if it was from a product or just naturally! :)

Thanks so much Christina!! That’s actually just my natural skin color—I have my French Canadian mother to thank for it :) That being said, one thing I do to enhance that “glow” on my face is use a highlighter of some kind on my cheekbones/near my brow bones. Lately I’m loving Glossier Haloscope in Quartz and W3ll People Bio Brightener Stick. Hope that helps!
