A Striped Dress for Work to Weekend

striped fit and flare dress art in the find 3Today my friend Conni is back to share a style post with you—specifically, she’s addressing the very real issue many of you work-in-an-office ladies have, which is the separation of work clothes and weekend clothes. Lucky for you, she’s found a great piece that works for both scenarios, helping you keep your wardrobe streamlined and minimal, which I know you love ;)

Hello friends! It’s Conni of Art in the Find back for a fun guest post featuring one of Natalie’s (and my) favorite patterns, the stripe.

Can we talk about work attire for a moment? Whether you work from home or you head to the office day in and day out, you may have felt the struggle to find wardrobe pieces that can be used for work and on the weekend like I have. Many of us have a ‘work’ specific wardrobe and a ‘weekend’ specific wardrobe that are clearly defined. But if you’re like me, I love finding pieces that can be worn for both circumstances making the most out of what’s in my closet!

So when I came across this striped fit and flare dress, I saw this as the perfect piece to wear from work to a girls night or on the weekend. If you don’t own one, a striped fit and flare dress is a lovely option for work if you’re pairing it with heels, a work blazer, and a great statement necklace. It can easily transition into a weekend piece by adding your favorite hat, jean jacket, and flats. Who doesn’t love that!

Thanks again for letting me share my style with you. Even in Toronto, I live and breathe California style. Find me over at Art in the Find where I love sharing colorful California style while I’m living with my hubby for another year in Toronto!

P.S. Notice a familiar necklace? Conni is wearing her Natalie Borton Emerson Tassel Necklace!! The new Clarke Tassel Necklace is a similar option :)
