After a week in Massachusetts, we hopped on another flight and made our way to Nashville to celebrate Brian’s sister getting married—woohoo! Sadly we have zero photos from the wedding itself, but we did snap a ton at the reception, which took place at a lake. Unlike any other wedding reception we’d been to, it was super kid friendly and pretty much the ideal way to spend a scorching hot summer day. We enjoyed tasty food, lots of time in the water and all kinds of good conversation.
On Sunday before we left town, we had a bit of time in the middle of the day and decided to head into town for some food and treats—a little lunch, some tasty ice cream at Jeni’s, iced lattes at Frothy Monkey and even a wander through a fruit and vegetable stand.
^^I can’t even believe I caught this action on camera!
^^Fish tacos and a margarita for us Californians :)
^^Jeni’s!! I’ve been wanting to go here for ages!
^^Bourbon Salted Pecan and Darkest Chocolate. It definitely lived up to its reputation—yum!
^^What’s a hot summer afternoon without an iced coffee beverage?
