Final Bits of Massachusetts

DSC_0148

What a trip, what a trip! Now that we’re back home, I’m uploading the last of the photos and can’t help but share them, scattered as they are. Tomorrow I’ll post some of the second leg of our East Coast adventures—Nashville, Tennessee! How is it already Wednesday? My oh my this summer is zooming along.

^^Fresh, locally-caught lobsters for dinner—I can never come close to finishing mine!

^^Bear claws from a local food shop—they were so decadent. And worth every bite, of course. A perfect final breakfast before we headed to the airport.

^^Jack’s latest food obsession: frozen peas. I’m elated because it requires zero preparation and it’s a green vegetable. Win-win.

^^A couple shots of the sunrise one morning when I woke up way too early thanks to a horrifying dream. I hardly ever can remember my dreams (which I love), so I was totally freaked out and just decided that it was time to get up and make the most of a night cut short.

^^Toting Jack around in the wagon! It was fun until he realized he could stand up in it. (For those curious, my hat is Madewell!)

^^The only sandals I brought with me for the week—so comfy! These are similar.

^^A father/son candid before heading out to lunch one day.

Any chance you were in the Falmouth area? My dad’s family has a house in Falmouth Heights where his grandparents used to live, and these photos look so familiar! Then again, most of those towns along the Cape look pretty similar :) Looks like you had a wonderful time, I miss Massachusetts!
