Hello everyone, it’s Conni again from Art in the Find back with my monthly style installment for you darling readers! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about style for spring & summer. Which pieces are worth purchasing? Which are possible pieces to hold off on? One style piece that I feel is a great investment for your spring & summer wardrobe is a romper (or jumper). Why?
Think about it, you throw on one item of clothing and whoosh, you’re out the door. I don’t know about you, but the easier it is to put together an outfit, the more time I have to drink my a.m. coffee and leave my house feeling effortless in the style department. What else in the name of style requires less thinking (possibly the maxi dress….but in the name of proving a point…) than a complete outfit all in one piece. Today I’m showing you how to wear a romper, that perfect spring & summer one-piece to add to your closet.
Tips for finding the right romper:
1 | FIT – If the romper has an elastic waistband (as most do) make sure that when trying it on, the waistband sits at your natural waist. This is the most flattering option for your body style.
2 | STYLE – Rompers fit differently depending on the brand. So don’t give up hope on all rompers if one doesn’t fit properly. Give a few styles a try, short rompers, pant rompers, waistband or not.
3 | COLOR – Finding the right color or pattern in a romper will also make the difference between love and dislike. Give shades of blues and creams a try, along with patterned pieces. Or if you’re wondering where to start, give a classic black wrap romper a try and jazz it up with a great accessory!
I hope you feel confident rocking a romper this spring & summer. Have you given one a try? What’s been your favorite go-to spring style piece? For more style tips via video check out my new YouTube channel & you can find me on my blog, Art in the Find! Happy romper hunting!
