A little while back, shortly after I had Jack, my friend Aubrey reached out to see if I would be interested in contributing to a project she was working on called Cleverly—a collaborative publication for creative women that showcases their stories and artwork. My initial thought was that I was so consumed with new motherhood that I didn’t have the time, but now that the project is over, I am SO GLAD I decided to contribute. Aubrey really outdid herself—it’s beautiful, uplifting and super inspiring.
The piece I contributed—Long Mornings and New Measures of Success—is actually one I shared here on the blog a while back that got buried in the archives. Inspired by Arianna Huffington, it’s about refusing to let your work define who you are and embracing balance that ultimately makes us better at everything we do.
Lucky for you, she’s made it available in a digital form for free! I hope you’ll settle in, get cozy and give it a read. You can get the full issue here.
P.S. Be sure to check out more of Aubrey’s work at adesigncollection.com.
