It’s so funny to me that crop tops are back in. I went to high school during the Britney Spears era and certainly was not shy about revealing my belly button to the world. I honestly can’t believe my parents let me leave the house in some of the tops I owned! That being said, they clearly knew what they were doing by trusting me because despite my immodest attire at the time, I always stayed out of trouble and to this day have literally never have lied to them. (Gosh, I hope I can build that kind of trusting/respectful relationship with Jack!)

Anyway, I digress. Though the crop tops of old were paired with low-rise jeans, today’s look is fresh and sophisticated thanks to high-rise jeans that cover up the belly button and meet the crop top up by the waist. Yes, if you raise your arms a bit of your mid-section will be revealed, but I’m okay with that. Though I normally don’t love a boxy fit, this top feels good to me since it’s cropped length draws attention to the waist.

This outfit and crop top looks so cute on you! I tried out a crop top recently, but it just did not suit me. I don’t know if it was just the one I tried, but I wasn’t comfortable. However, I really love this look on you! And I am loving those shoes!

This looks great on you! Do you think this would still be cute with a cami underneath? I’m not entirely sure I want to expose this 30-something post-baby belly to the world :-)

So cute!! I have a crop top that I have worn over a fitted tank style maxi. A cute way to wear a crop if you don’t want to expose too much.
