On Repeat

I go through serious phases about pretty much everything—food, outfits, and definitely music. Once I find something I like, I become totally addicted to it for a period of time until I’m so tired of it I can’t even think about it anymore. A little crazy? Perhaps. But hey, I accept myself.

I was recently sent a pair of really amazing headphones from LSTN and they are making my little musical jam sessions so much more enjoyable than when I listened with the dinky earbuds I had before. Those things always ended up hurting my ears. They’re not only beautiful, comfortable and able to deliver awesome sound, they also are from a brand with a purpose: For every pair sold, LSTN helps restore hearing to a person in need through Starkey Hearing Foundation. A well-designed product that makes the world a better place is definitely something I can get behind.

These are the jams I can’t stop listening to lately…

Blank Space, Style and Shake It Off by Taylor Swift
Riptide and Mess is Mine by Vance Joy
Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
Boom Clap by Lennon & Maisy
Believe by Mumford & Sons
A Sky Full of Stars and Magic by Coldplay
I’ve Just Seen the Face by Dawn & Hawkes

What are you listening to these days?

Those are very well designed headphones – and the sound quality is great, up there with my Bose headphones. I’m listening to Bastille obsessively these days…

Yes! You do love Bastille! I’ll admit, I think they’re pretty good, too :)

Lennon and Maisy’s version of Boom Clap is my absolute favorite. So much better than the original. Those sisters are so dang talented!

    Hi Natalie,

You were just describing me here! When i find an album or artist i like i will listen to it until i get sick, which can be bad because i will then need quite a few time to be able to go back to it.

Currently loving Hozier, especially “Like real lovers do”

I love all of these music recommendations!! Currently listening to “I’ve just seen a face”…LOVE. Warmer days are coming in Tennessee, which always puts me in a country music mood. I’ve been listening to a lot of Keith Urban and Sam Hunt. However, the new Cinderella soundtrack has been my go-to listening for work! :)
