Lilly Pulitzer for Target

lily-for-target4

Normally I’m not one for much color in my wardrobe. In fact, my closet looks a lot like this and I’m totally okay with it. But as summer approaches every year, I find myself adding in brighter hues—and the new Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection has majorly captured my attention and affection—especially the indigo hues!

Though not available until April 19th, Target has set up an interactive page where you can save your favorites for later when they’re actually available for purchase. Let me just say, I saved way more than I thought I would. Everything is so happy and beautiful, and it has me dreaming of all of the beach days ahead. Bonus: the collection is available in plus sizes, too.

Below is a peek at some of my favorite looks from the lookbook, plus the items I’m thinking about buying once Target starts selling them.

This look makes me want to wear wedges by the pool…and I don’t think I’ve ever had that thought or feeling before. I love the little dip the swim bottoms have below the belly button—I think these could be so much more flattering than a lot of the other high-waisted bottoms I’ve seen. Also, that kimono!!

I love, love, love these coverup tunics—in both blue and white! The gold detail around the neckline is perfection. And the eyelet fabric shows off some skin while still having a modest feel.

I. Need. These. Shorts. Indigo + pom poms. What more is there to love? Now, a peek at all of my top picks, all of which are blue, white or gold. Surprise, surprise…

The pom pom shorts are a must! I also have my eye on the one piece swimsuit in upstream paired with the white eyelet shorts, the white eyelet cover-up, and raffia tote bag-my fans! I too was drawn to the whites and blues
