Holiday Gift Guide: For Her

IMG_8826.JPG

Below is a list of gift ideas for the beloved ladies in your life—mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends. Use it to help you shop for them, or forward it along to your significant other to give him a hint or two about what you’re hoping for ;)

How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are, $25
For a gal who loves to read, this is a really fun gift. The book is witty and playful—and it will look beautiful on her nightstand, too.

Tiny Tags Gold Plated Mini Dog Tag Necklace, $95
My parents got me one of these necklaces with Jack’s initials on it for my birthday and it’s already one of the most special pieces of jewelry I own. This makes a wonderful gift for a new mom (or grandmother) or even a bride-to-be or newlywed.

Capri Blue Mercury Glass Jar Candle, $28
When in doubt, this is a go-to gift for me. I’ve never met someone who doesn’t love this candle, and it’s sort of the gift that keeps on giving since the gift recipient will think of you whenever she lights it. Plus, the mercury glass is gorgeous.

14th & Union Cashmere Colorblock Infinity Scarf, $60
This 100% cashmere scarf is such a beautiful piece. I love it as a gift idea because, really, who buys themselves such a fancy scarf? It’s a lovely indulgence that will be cherished and worn with delight.

Darling Magazine Quarterly Subscription, $80
Who doesn’t love a magazine? And a positive one at that. Darling is a catalyst for positive change; leading women to discover beauty apart from vanity, influence apart from manipulation, style apart from materialism, sweetness apart from passivity, and womanhood without degradation. The subscription includes full access to print and digital throughout the year and payment is done quarterly, so you pay $20 every 3 months for the gift. Ideal for anyone on a budget looking to gift something at a higher price point ;). Alternatively, you could just get a single issue for $20 and the sentiment would be the same!

Bando Bobbi Pins, $12 each
These are just so playful and fun! Pick one that best suits the gal you’re buying for, or get them all and give her a quirky collection.

Madewell Pivot Pendant, $38
A beautiful double-faced pendant necklace for a gal who loves more delicate jewelry. Don’t you think that plaza green color is dreamy?

Moccasin Slippers, $19.99
If she’s a homebody, give her some cozy slippers to walk around the house in. (I personally own this pair and wear them constantly.) Combine these with a magazine subscription or a candle for an even cozier gift.

Butter London Cutup Collection Set, $25
Three pretty, glittery polishes for fancy nails—during the holidays, and the rest of the year.

Madewell Monogrammed Transport Tote, $178
I’m always a sucker for personalized gifts. If your budget is higher, this is perfect for anyone in your life with classic, timeless taste who likes to have everything with her at all times :) If you’re not wanting to spend as much, there are several other, lower-priced options that can be monogrammed, too!

iPhone case, price varies
For the gal you always text or call, treat her to a new case for her beloved mobile device. Since everyone’s taste is so different, it’s up to you to pick the perfect one! My favorite places to choose from are Kate Spade, J.Crew, J.Crew Factory and Madewell.
