Book Club is Back

Based on your positive response on Facebook, I’ve decided to bring back the book club! And we’ll kick things off with a book I just started and am totally loving—The Nesting Place: It Doesn’t Have To Be Perfect To Be Beautiful by Myquillyn Smith.

We’ll keep it super low-key, and do it like this…

I’ll announce the book we’re reading for the upcoming month during the last week of the current month so we all have time to buy it. Then, we’ll read to our heart’s content, as fast or as slow as we please. At the end of the month, I’ll do a post with some thoughts and takeaways on the book and (finished or not) we can all chat about our thoughts in the comments section. Sound good?

Since it’s the holiday season and we’re all crazy busy, I thought I’d announce the December book now to give us all plenty of time to read. I’ll plan to share my thoughts and announce the January book before Christmas. Until then, happy reading!!

Accepting suggestions for our January book pick in the comments below!

Oh Natalie!!! I’m so glad this is back. Count me in! I just bought The Nesting Place for my friend and I want a copy for myself (now I have a good excuse). As far as suggestions…I have been looking into anything written by Anne Lamott because her quotes floating around are so good. And because I loved “What Alice Forgot”, anything by Liane Moriarty. Can’t wait to hear what your next pick will be!

Yay! So glad you’re in! This book is so inspiring—I can’t wait to apply all that I’m learning to my home. Also, great suggestions. I’ve never read anything by Anne Lamott, but I hear amazing things about her and love pretty much every single quote of hers I’ve ever seen.

This looks amazing and I cant wait to pick it up and read it. I recently read the Perfume Collector and it was fabulous that might be a good one for January.
