Chic & Playful Swimsuits for Spring and Summer

Whether going away on a spring vacation of sorts, or just getting prepared for summer, it’s usually this time of year that we all have swimsuits on the brain. I know that’s true for me, at least! These are some of my absolutely favorite suits for the season (I already own number 8 and am adding numbers 1 and 7 to my wish list!).

1 // Victoria’s Secret Mesh Inset Triangle & Mesh Low-Rise Bottom
I absolutely love the high-rise cut of the top, with subtle mesh for a hint of sexy. The bottoms have a hint of sheer mesh around the waistband to tie it all together, but the top could also be easily paired with any kind of black bottoms.

2 // J.Crew Ruched Underwire Top & High-Waist Brief
Shown in Vibrant Flame, his adorable French-inspired suit comes in all kinds of colors, including Bright Azure, Vivid Spearmint and Deep Hyacinth.

3 // Nanette Lepore Riviera Goddess Maillot
The embroidery on this one-piece really makes it stand out. I also love the little dip in the neckline, and that the halter strap is removable.

4 // Lenny Niemeyer Geo-Floral Maillot
A one-strap one-piece is both modest and flirty—especially this one with its split straps and scoop back detail. So chic.

5 // Mikoh Swimwear Santorini One-Piece
A one-piece that’s sexier than most bikinis for sure, I’m totally obsessed with the strings in the back. One thing to note: the bottoms are quite tiny and intended to be a bit cheeky.

6 // Victoria’s Secret Mesh Cutout One-Piece
The cutout and mesh details make this one-piece swimsuit both sexy and modern.

7 // Maaji Captain Reversible Top & Bottoms
Perhaps my favorite suit of the season, I adore the flirty ruffle detailing on the top, along with its dramatic scoop back. Plus, it’s a twofer—flip it for a fun floral pattern when black feels too boring.

8 // RahRah Designs Navy Monogramed Bandeau Top & Classic Navy Bottoms
I personally have this suit with the scripted monogram on the top (as shown), and have found it to be surprisingly supportive for a bandeau, even without the removable halter strap. It feels classic and nautical, and can also be monogrammed on the bottoms.

9 // J.Crew Cubist Print Bandeau Top & Cubist Print Hipster
This graphic, 70’s inspired print is playful without being too over the top thanks to it’s low-key color palette. Also comes with a removable halter strap.

What swimsuits do you have your eye on this season?

So ready for swimsuit time! Well… my mind, maybe not so much my body. :) I love #2, #3, #4, and #8. I saw the RahRah suit a while back, and it’s definitely one on my wishlist. Love the anthro one-piece (#4) too. The back is amazing. I’m glad more people are starting to embrace the modest (and cute!) suits. Thanks for sharing all these fun finds.
