5 In living

seattle bound.

Tonight Brian and I flying to Seattle to visit for the first time ever! We’ll be in town for Greta‘s wedding, but are flying out early to do some downtown exploring. Our friends have given us a very long list of things to do and see while we’re in town, and all we can think is that we wish we had an infinite amount of time! Here are some things at the top of our list:

I’m so excited to sip delicious coffee, spend some time in the rain, and celebrate the marriage of one of my dearest friends. Be back Monday!

Have you ever been to Seattle? If so, do you have any other recommendations (perhaps a vegan-friendly dinner spot)? I’ll be checking the comments tomorrow morning for ideas :)

Yes, I’ve heard that place is amazing!! I think the Vegan Coconut Chunk flavor has my name written all over it!

Yay, welcome to Seattle! I’d recommend either Plum or Cafe Flora for vegan-friendly meals. The Flying Apron Bakery has tasty vegan, allergen-free stuff, too. The Honey Hole is near Homegrown (definitely good!) and has a wide array of regular and vegan/vegetarian sandwiches. While in that area, the Elliott Bay bookstore is a Seattle staple. And so is Molly Moon’s!

If you want to be near the Space Needle, my family raved about the Chihuly exhibit. If it’s a nice day I’d recommend sitting at the cafe afterwards.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you for your tips, Alissa! We ended up trying Plum Bistro as well as Molly Moon’s and both were absolutely delightful!
